Unheard by Bhavini Bhargava Wins The World’s Best Book Awards Book of Excellence

Australia, 18th Apr 2025,

Bhavini Bhargava’s poetry collection Unheard has been awarded the prestigious Book of Excellence title at The World’s Best Book Awards. This recognition follows a series of accomplishments for Bhavini’s debut collection, which has resonated with readers worldwide for its raw exploration of the silent struggles of youth.

Upon receiving the award, Bhavini expressed, “Wow, incredible, humbled to receive the pinnacle of awards for my book Unheard. It has been an incredible journey from writing down my emotions in my personal notebook from the age of 15 to getting my poetry published and getting recognition from the international community in the form of this award. Thank you.”

The Unheard journey continued with Bhavini earning 22 national and international awards in 2024, underscoring the universal appeal of her work. Unheard was honoured with titles such as the Next Best Read Writing Contest Award, Salismania Best Poetry Book 2024 Award, and the S7 Poetry Award, among others. It also claimed recognition from major literary events such as the New England Book Festival, Literary Titan Best Poetry Book Award, Pinnacle Best Book Award, and several others.

In reflecting on Bhavini’s Unheard, the official review described the collection as, “a deeply personal, emotionally resonant collection of poems that speak directly to the quiet struggles, silenced voices, and inner conflicts of young adulthood.” The review continues, highlighting the authenticity of Bhavini’s voice, stating, “Each poem feels like a page torn from a private journal, yet the themes are universal: the pressure to conform, the ache of isolation, the longing for acceptance, and the ever-present tension between who we are and who the world wants us to be.”

The Book of Excellence title further solidifies Unheard as a significant cultural work, with its themes extending beyond the pages to become part of ongoing conversations about the emotional landscape of youth in a globalised world.
